Mock-Up Poster Shows Hailee Steinfeld in Hawkeye Series

News had come out yesterday that Hailee Steinfeld was being offered the lead role in Disney+'s Hawkeye series, and a lot of people started getting excited for her Kate Bishop. While Marvel can't provide us with any concept art yet, internet artist BossLogic has given us an interesting mock-up of a poster for the show—should Steinfeld get officially cast that is.

Check it out:

While some think that the series will focus on Clint Barton's daughter, Kate Bishop is more of Clint's protégé. We don't know how close the series will follow her comic origin, but I imagine she's some kind of delinquent that Hawkeye takes under his wing (like he did with Natasha Romanoff). Maybe she's the daughter of a close friend that dies, and Clint decides to step up and be her father figure.

If anything, I'm thinking her relationship with Hawkeye will come after the Endgame timeline, because if she had existed in Clint's life during the events of the Infinity War, then we should have heard of her in some way. Maybe she can be a Hawkeye superfan who learned how to be proficient on her own? I'm just spit-balling here.

If anything, Steinfeld is still in the running, and we're just waiting for the official announcement. Hopefully, the show finds a great way for Clint to pass the torch to her in the series.

Hawkeye is set to come to Disney+ in the fall of 2021. Disney+ launches Nov.12 later this year.
