Millenium Falcon Spotted In Han Solo Film Leak

Last month, Lucasfilm announced the production of its next spinoff movie, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller's Han Solo.

Since then the studio hasn't given out much information about the upcoming space Western movie aside from the most recent "Force For Change" charity announcement enticing fans to help out the Starlight Children's Foundation for a chance to take part in a few "once in a lifetime" Star Wars experiences, one of which includes visiting the set of Han Solo and joining the cast as an extra cameo.

Now, the first look of Han Solo's Millennium Falcon has made its way online thanks to super Star Wars fan, Mike Zeroh. The image features the cockpit of the Millennium Flacon under construction at London's Pinewood Studios.

"I'm not sure if this is going to be used as an object," says Zeroh. "Where the Falcon will sit in the background, or if the actors and crew members will be able to go inside of it and film scenes."

Given its size and the detail in the inside of the cockpit, Lucasfilm may intend to have the cast move inside the set piece however confirmation still needs to be made on that point. Though the set piece seems new, it's also very likely that this is the same Millennium Falcon cockpit that was used in The Force Awakens being refurbished for use in the upcoming spinoff.

Han Solo is scheduled for release on May 25, 2018.
