Michael Bay Posts New Transformers: The Last Knight Photo

Director Michael Bay recently shared a new set photo from the upcoming Transformers: The Last Knight film on his instagram. Predictably, it featured a lot of explosions:

Transformers: The Last Knight will be the fifth film in the Transformers series. Michael Bay has stated this will be his last Transformers film. Little is known about the movie, but it has been revealed that Megatron will be returning for the film.

Mark Wahlberg will be reprising his role as Cade Yeager from the previous film, Transformers: Age of Extinction. Josh Duhamel will be reprising his role as Lieutenant Colonel William Lennox and Tyrene Gibson will be reprising his role as former soldier Robert Epps. Isabela Moner will be playing Izabela, a street-smart orphaned girl whose sole friend is a miniature Transformer named Sqweeks.

The film is set to premiere June 23, 2017. Transformers 6 has already been announced as slated for June 28, 2019. A spin-off movie focusing on the Transformer Bumblebee is slated for June 8, 2018.

The instagram photo reveals that those who criticize Micheal Bay's projects for being nothing but explosions and chaos will be equally critical of his last Transformers film. What about you? How do you feel about Bay's explosive directing? Are you excited for the new Transformers or are you tired of the movie franchise?
