It looks like Megan Fox is up for another role as another famous redhead in pop-culture. Rumor has it that Fox is being considered for a role in David Ayer's Gotham City Sirens, and that role is none other than Pamela Isley a.k.a. Poison Ivy.
ComicBookMovie doesn't mention where the rumor directly comes from, but if Fox was to get the part, she would join Margot Robbie who will be reprising her role as Harley Quinn from Suicide Squad. Now all that's left would be someone to play Catwoman.
Granted Poison Ivy is known for being one of the most provocative characters in Batman's (heck, DC's) Rogues Gallery, Fox would fit right into the role. My only issue is that, though Fox undoubtedly has the sex appeal, she hasn't really proven herself as a great actress. What's more, Ivy is a trademark redhead, and I don't want them putting red highlights in her hair just like they did in Ninja Turtles. April O' Neil deserved better.
Then again, I'm not opposed to Megan Fox joining the DC Cinematic Universe at all. She might be better suited for Catwoman or maybe the Huntress. Just cast a redhead for Ivy; maybe Christina Hendricks from Mad Men or Deborah Ann Woll from Daredevil?
Gotham City Sirens has no official release date, but it's possible that it could come out in 2018, depending on how happy Warner Bros. is with the script.
