Meet Kylo Ren and Experience The Force Awakens in This Star Wars Cruise

Kylo Ren might have lost the day in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but he is one of the more popular characters who fans are literally cozying up to in the special Star Wars cruise called Star Wars Day At Sea. Relaunched this January and continuing up to April, this sci-fi marine convention will be making the seventh installment of the Star Wars saga an important part of its carefully crafted program.

The daytime luxury sea voyage is one way by which Star Wars saga buffs can celebrate their fandom in a special and luxurious place they can call their own (for at least a day).

As described by The Disney Parks Blog, Kylo Ren (played by another actor, not Adam Driver) will now be part of the meet-and-greet iconic characters during the night-time celebrations. Sabine and Ezra from Star Wars Rebels also mingle with the crowd. That grand music from Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will stream through the entire ship. Both movies will also have special screening sessions for cruise attendees who want to see them again.

The panel discussions will reveal a bit of the mystery that lights up the Star Wars magic. On board to talk about things like character development, production process, and storyline twists are Pablo Hidalgo, the creative executive for the Lucasfilm Story Group, and Jason McGatlin, the executive producer for The Force Awakens, Rogue One, and Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Fans can always video-binge on their favorite Star War movies or recapture the scenes they treasure on YouTube. But there is something to be said about partying with like-minded friends on real-time, sharing stories, talking about the films, and even touching base with the new Dark Lord on a more personal basis.

The Star Wars Day At Sea cruise barely takes 24 hours but the memories can last you for a lifetime---and give you a more immersive fix until the next Star Wars movie.
