Marvel TV is definitely on a roll. Apart from Iron Fist, The Defenders, and Cloak and Dagger being some of the hotshot series, now Hulu is also getting a slice of the Marvel madness on TV with Runaways.
Now, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that the cast has been assembled. The comic series adaptation of Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona will be under the care of Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage.
Spearheading the cast is Gregg Sulkin, who will play the role of heartthrob Chase Stein. There's also Rhenzy Feliz who will be Alex Wilder, the big nerd. Nico Minoru will be brought to life by Lyrica Okano, the resident goth.
Virginia Gardner will be Karolina Dean, whose last name seems to resound so much with that achievement that students look forward to landing every semester. The riot rock n' roll girl Gert Yorkes will be portrayed by Ariela Barer, while Allegra Acosta rounds up the cast as Molly Hernandez.
"I'm so excited for fans of the comic to watch this perfect cast of amazing actors, all of whom embody the spirit of their characters more than I ever could have imagined."
Previously, there's already talk of the filming date for Marvel's Runaways, which is set on Feb. 13, the same day as Cloak and Dagger should be shooting. Considering how both series already have their cast, it's not impossible to meet this deadline, though Runaways may still get additional cast members later announced later on.
