Though initially announced as a movie, The Inhumans has been bumped down into a TV series by Marvel, but the first two episodes will be screened in IMAX. Production is currently ongoing, and now fans have a release date for when to expect The Inhumans.

IMAX has just posted on Twitter that the show will premiere on Sept. 1 – that's nearly two months before the release of Thor: Ragnarok and two months after Spider-Man: Homecoming. With the production currently underway, it looks like fans won't have to wait too long for the Inhumans to hit their TV screens.

Though I have remained undoubtful about the Marvel movies, I always think twice about the Marvel TV Universe. After the mediocre ratings of Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter, I'm just wondering how much quality is lost from the Inhumans project when it made its transition from movie to television series. We may as well could have lost another potential Guardians of the Galaxy.

Oh well, Marvel can do whatever it wants — just keep pumping out the good movies. I mean, who would've thought that Spider-Man was eventually going to cross over?

Inhumans is set to debut on IMAX on Sept. 1.
