The wild Australian bushfires have been one of the world's biggest tragedies in early 2020 and it's made the start of this year very depressing for a lot of people, particularly the people who live in Australia. Thor: Love and Thunder star Chris Hemsworth is a native of Australia and is going to do what he can for the country by donating $1 million to help stop these wild bushfires.

Hemsworth announced the news on Instagram in a heartfelt post that a lot of people are going to warm up to. It's clear that the Marvel actor is concerned about his home and what might end up happening to the few animals left, especially since so many have died already. No doubt, this is a massive tragedy and we hope that whoever is responsible will be brought to justice.

It's good to know that Hemsworth is willing to donate $1 million. While most fans might scoff at this since he's a big Marvel superstar, $1 million will always be a lot to people, no matter how rich you are. Plus, while $1 million is a lot, it probably won't be enough to fix this problem and the actor has asked fans if they can donate in any way they can.

We'll soon be seeing Chris Hemsworth as the God of Thunder in Thor: Love and Thunder, which will be released on November 5, 2021.
