Marvel's Black Panther is Now The 9th Highest-Grossing Film at Domestic Box Office

Marvel's Black Panther has become the ninth-highest grossing film of all time at the domestic box office, and it's close to surpassing Rogue One: A Star Wars Story with $532 million.

The Ryan Coogler-helmed Marvel film has been dominating the box office for three straight weekends since its mid-February release.

Black Panther has become the second-highest grossing Marvel Cinematic Universe film of all time at the domestic box office, surpassing Avengers: Age of Ultron's $459 million and just behind Marvel's Avengers, which grossed $623.4 million. However, if Black Panther continues to rake money at this pace, it will probably surpass The Avengers to become the MCU's biggest domestic hit. It would also likely surpass Jurassic World ($652 million) and Titanic ($659 million) to get the Top 3 spot for the domestic box office.

Its worldwide total right now is $909.8 million, the 47th highest of all time.

Marvel's Black Panther is now showing in theaters.
