Marvel's Avengers Post-Game Content Includes 'Greater Threats' and More Difficult Missions

Since there wasn't an Avengers movie announced for phase four, fans are hoping that Square Enix and Crystal Dynamic's Marvel's Avengers gives them the blockbuster action they crave for. While there were concerns during E3 2019, things started becoming more positive during SDCC where they finally showed some gameplay footage. The fact that this is a single-player game has people even more excited and now they have something else to be hyped up about: post-game content.

Or, should we say, Endgame content? LOL

After beating the main campaign, Studio Creative Director Noah Hughes revealed to The Daily Star that the game won't be over yet. Apparently, bigger threats will be coming and it's up to The Avengers to stop them (obviously). These will supposedly be more difficult than the main campaign, which is where multiplayer becomes a factor, though players can still take on these missions by themselves.

This is also before all the post-launch DLC coming out so it looks like we're in for a meaty gaming experience. Sure, it does reek a bit of Destiny and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 but that's not a bad thing if it's done well. I mean, Xenoverse 2 still gets updates and paid DLC to this day so they're doing something right.

Marvel's Avengers is coming out on May 15, 2020. The game is coming out on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia.
