Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite: New Characters And Abilities Showcased In Gameplay Trailer

E3 has lead to some pretty sweet teases and reveals for upcoming games, and Marvel vs. CapcomInfinite has gotten a new trailer highlighting returning characters as well as new moves.

For one, it's confirmed that Zero will still be a playable character despite the inclusion of X from Mega Man X. It's also worth noting that the game's version of Rocket Raccoon seems to have a different moveslist this time around, with him being able to summon Groot during battles.

The only new character that seems to be highlighted is Marvel baddie Thanos, who looks to have a set of new moves compared to his 2D counterpart from the Marvel vs. Capcom 2 days. He does have some moves that seem to harken back to his abilities in the old game, but he's probably been updated to be closer to his movie version (just like Rocket).

So far, we haven't seen gameplay for incoming characters like Black Panther or Gamora. Seeing that a lot of old characters are coming back for Infinite, it's possible that we'll be getting a handful of other new heroes this time around. Some fans are worried, however, that Wolverine and other X-Men-related characters will be cut from the game because of the Marvel/FOX rivalry.

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite comes out Sept. 19.
