Monster Hunter is one of the more anticipated fighters coming to Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite, so fans will be happy to see a new gameplay trailer featuring the character. Some will argue that she shouldn't have been DLC since the character makes an appearance in the story mode. It's definitely an odd decision for sure, but judging from her gameplay she could be a fan favorite.
The female Hunter switches between a number of weapons during combat, all of which should be familiar to fans of the Monster Hunter series. She comes with bow and arrows, regular swords, and a ridiculously huge sword that can absorb a ton of damage and dish it out as well. Look at her not flinch when taking a big attack from Thanos, it's crazy and fitting for the crazy fighting game.
It's a shame that the character is DLC since she would have excited players who were/are skeptical about the game. Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite is seriously lacking in new characters, and the lackluster graphics don't help at all. Gameplay is the main reason the fighter is doing well in reviews, but a new character like Monster Hunter would have helped a lot.
Fans will be able to get Monster Hunter by purchasing the 2017 character pass. She joins Black Panther, Black Widow, Sigma, Venom and Winter Soldier. Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite is available now on the PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
