Marvel Showrunner Defends Zack Snyder And His Abilities As A Director

Though Deadpool and Spiderman have been busy firing shots at Zack Snyder's underwhelming Batman vs. Superman in Marvel comics, the DC director still receives some respite from the competition as a Marvel Netflix showrunner shows support for Snyder and his work.

Taking to Twitter early this morning, Daredevil showrunner Steven DeKnight defended Snyder whilst talking to fans on the social media platform, saying that he believed in the DC director's ability as a filmmaker.

"Most people get a bad rap on the Internet. I think he's brilliant, and works incredibly hard to advance the language of film," DeKnight responded to a question about the "bad rap" Snyder has been having because of his recent flops.

Though DC and Marvel are both competitors in the superhero blockbuster industry, it's refreshing to see the two supporting each other in little ways like these. Sometimes fans can get a bit too catty about their favorite studios and fandoms, so it's great to see Marvel and DC get along in moments like these.

Zack Snyder's next DC film, Justice League comes out in cinemas on November 17 this year.
