Marvel Reportedly Casting Black Goliath For Ant-Man & The Wasp

It looks like Marvel's looking for someone to play Ant-Man & the Wasp's Dr. Bill Foster.

Information about the Ant-Man sequel continue to make their rounds across the internet, and That Hashtag Show has sources that say the studio is looking for an African American male between 55 years to 65 years of age. It may not confirm that Marvel's looking for Dr. Bill Foster, but the description fits right in with Marvel hero Black Goliath.

Bill Foster has powers a lot like Hank Pym's ability to grow up to massive proportions and he's the second Giant-Man and fourth Goliath in the Marvel Comics.

However, with Marvel looking for an older actor, it's possible that that the studio might want to spice things up and turn Foster into a regular character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe instead of making him a superhero. After all, the studio did feature a much older Hank Pym in their Ant-Man.

Ant-Man & The Wasp releases July 6, 2017.
