Marvel Is Skipping Hall H For This Year’s Comic-Con International: San Diego

Looks like Marvel fans won't have much to look forward to during this year's Comic-Con International in San Diego.

Though Marvel might be having a big year celebrating ten years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the beginning of the culmination of the franchise through Avengers: Infinity War, it seems like the studio is going to take a break from this year's San Diego Comic-Con by skipping its annual Hal H presentation.

Though Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige tells Screen Rant that Marvel is still going to maintain a certain level of presence at the convention, the studio plans to forego its panel at Hall H this year.

"Marvel Studios will have a presence there only in that there will be 10th-anniversary materials and a 10th-anniversary panel," he said during his interview with the publication. "Not doing Hall H this year."

News regarding Marvel's decision to skip the Hall H panel is definitely surprising. Fans might have been hoping for more news from Marvel after the release of Infinity War and Ant-Man and the Wasp. Not only have fans been hoping for more news on Infinity War's sequel, Avengers 4, they've also been looking for more announcements regarding the studio's first female-led superhero movie, Captain Marvel.

It's going to be pretty different without a Marvel Hall H panel this year, especially at this time when there isn't any D-23 Expo from Disney (the event is held every two years). We wonder how and when Marvel's going to be making their announcements this year.

Avengers: Infinity War premieres this Friday, April 27.
