Deborah Ann Woll and Simone Missick will reprise their roles as Karen Page and Misty Knight in The Defenders, Marvel officially announced on Twitter today. The actresses will join the previously confirmed cast of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Finn Jones as Danny Rand, and Sigourney Weaver as an unconfirmed villain. Jon Bernthal hasn't been confirmed to reprise his role as The Punisher, but we'll probably see him at some point.
It was recently announced that S.J. Clarkson was hired to direct the first two episodes, and that the mini-series will consist of eight episodes.
The Defenders is set to release on Netflix sometime in 2017.
