Freeform's upcoming new Marvel series Cloak and Dagger is among the new shows in the pipeline. And while casting was just recently confirmed for the titular pair, Tandy Bowen/Dagger and Tyrone Johnson/Cloak as Olivia Holt and Aubrey Joseph respectively, now we finally get six more additions to the cast members.
TV Insider got the confirmed six additional characters, including the parents of the pair, as listed below:
Andrea Roth: Melissa Bowen, Tandy's mom
Gloria Reuben: Adina Johnson, Tyrone's mom
Miles Mussenden: Tyrone's dad
Carl Lundstedt: Liam, a townie operating as Tandy's partner in crime and sideline boyfriend
James Saito: Dr. Bernard Sanjo, one of the important facets in Tyrone's life
J.D. Evermore: Detective Connors, a man with a secret and a lot of contradictions in his persona
Everyone's pretty much excited for this new addition to the Marvel TV franchise. This will be Freeform's first dabble with a Marvel project to date. The series will delve into the story of the two teenagers from different backgrounds and both suffering from superpowers. It's also a love story between two individuals with differing powers—one who can bring darkness and one that can emit light daggers.
Marvel's Cloak and Dagger will be out on Freeform sometime in 2018.
