Marvel Announces Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’s Home Release Dates And Bonus Materials

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was another success for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, raking in $858 million at the global box office and earning mostly positive reviews. Now that the cosmic superhero romp has finished its run in theaters, Marvel Studios has finally announced the home release date of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Back in June, word began to spread that Guardians of the Galax Vol.2 would be making its home release in August this year and it seems like the rumors were actually right.

Marvel just posted a new trailer announcing the Digital and Blu-Ray release dates of the film along with the special features of each disc on YouTube today. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will be having its digital release on August 8 and then Blu-Ray on August 22 with both sets of discs offering fans deleted scenes, a Guardians Inferno music video, a gag reel and a whole lot more.
