DC Films and Marvel Studios have been competing over the hearts of audiences and readers for a long, long time. Now it seems like both studios are expanding their competition by fighting over the signature of producer and screenwriter Aaron Sorkin. Apparently both studious are hoping that they'll be able to get The Social Network producer to sign in on to their unnamed projects.

Sorkin spoke with ComicBook on the red carpet of CinemaCon in Las Vegas and revealed that he has meetings with both studios.

"I happen to have meetings coming up with both DC and Marvel," he said. "I have to go into these meetings and tell them as respectfully as I can that I've never read a comic book. It's not that I don't like them, it's just that I've never been exposed to one. So, I'm hoping that somewhere in their library is a comic book character that I'm gonna love and I'm going to want to go back and start reading from the first issue on."

Sorkin has been an active member of the Hollywood industry since the 1980's and is known for his work on television and film. Though there is no information as to what DC and Marvel could be getting Sorkin for, it's possible DC is getting Sorkin for Green Lantern Corps or The Batman while Marvel is getting him to sign in on to the Spider-Man : Homecoming sequel or to Guardians of the Galaxy 3.
