ABC's President, Paul Lee, just announced that they are ordering a pilot for a new Marvel street level comic book TV show. The new show is titled, Marvel's Most Wanted, and will focus on the popular Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D characters Mockingbird and Lance Hunter. Paul Lee went on to say, "We love the script... We think it's going to be great. We're doing that in the next few months."

While critics and viewer reviews for ABC's AOS TV show is getting better with every season, its ratings have continued to fall. Season premier viewership for AOS dropped from 12 million in season one, to 6 million in season two, and 5 million in season three. This decline in viewership progressed as new comic book TV shows are taking off on other networks, including The Flash on The CW and Supergirl on CBS.

Marvel's Most Wanted may be an attempt to keep a hit Marvel TV show running on their network (in addition to Agent Carter), especially if AOS viewership continues to decline. Agent's of S.H.I.E.L.D is on a long midseason hiatus and will return on March 8, 2016. In the meantime, Agent Carter's season premiere is scheduled for January 19th at 9:00PM EST on ABC.
