Mark Ruffalo Teases “Hulk-ier and Bigger” Hulk, Villainous Hela in Thor: Ragnarok

Chris Hemsworth's Thor and Mark Ruffalo's Hulk/Bruce Banner may have not been present in Marvel's recent blockbuster hit, Captain America: Civil War, but fans can expect to see the two characters in their own movie with quite the same epic proportions in Thor: Ragnarok.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight during a press junket for Now You See Me 2, Ruffalo was asked about his upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movie.

The 48-year-old actor revealed some details about the Taika Waititi film without really giving away any spoilers. He said:

It's an intergalactic buddy road movie with Banner and Thor.

He continued saying that the movie will add "a lot more Hulk" with The Big Green Guy seen doing more of what he does best.

He added:

The Hulk gets Hulk-ier. The Hulk Hulks out. Hulk-ier and bigger.

As for his tease on the new villainess to be introduced in the MCU, Ruffalo described Blanchett's Hela as "the worst of the worst."

So evil. She is going to kill us. It's such a great part she gets to play.

In late March, Blanchett also teased details about her character and her costume saying:

...I am looking forward to getting really fit, and wearing lycra, and hoping to earn a bit of street cred from my kids. I can't wait.

Apart from my excitement over the explosions and action scenes involving Thor and Hullk, I am most excited to see Blanchett as Hela. From her interview, it seems her character will also be performing quite a number of stunts and action sequences. Also, from her portrayal of the villain in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, I'm expecting her to show a menacing ruler of the realms of the dead.

As of date, there remains little known about the plot of Thor: Ragnarok. So far, Marvel Studios has only announced the stellar cast members who are set to star in the film. Aside from returning actors Ruffalo, Hemsworth, and Blanchett, the list includes Tom Hiddleston reprising his role as Loki, Tessa Thompson (Creed) as Valkyrie, Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster, and Karl Urban as Skurge.

Thor: Ragnarok will hit theaters on November 3, 2017.
