Mark Ruffalo Taunts Universal After Marvel Gives Hulk A Three Movie-Arc

The Hulk might have been forced to the sidelines in a majority of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but now Thor: Ragnarok is kicking off a brand new arc for the Big Green Guy and Bruce Banner and it seems like Mark Ruffalo couldn't be happier.

Though Marvel Studios is being forced to mix in Hulk's arc with Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4 because of Universal Pictures' rights to Hulk's solo movie, Ruffalo's happy that he can get what he can get, saying that he doesn't want a standalone movie for his character.

Sitting down in an interview with BBC, the Marvel star was asked if wanted the Hulk to get his own solo film, Ruffalo proudly answered with a,"No! Are you kidding me? I get to have the best time."

Though Universal's film rights to a Hulk standalone is getting in the way of the character getting his own trilogy, Ruffalo's pretty psyched that Marvel's doing a little work around so that Hulk gets his own three-movie arc.

"So I will get a standalone Hulk movie, and we will work around Universal, and we'll do it in three movies instead of one movie," Ruffalo explained. Turning to the camera, the Avengers star started making fun of Universal, taunting, "SO TAKE THAT, UNIVERSAL. NOW WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO? YOU COULD'VE HAD A PIECE OF THIS, BUT NOOOOO."

It must be hard for Marvel to negotiate with other studios so that it can feature its characters on the big screen. Luckily the studio has a workaround for Hulk.

Thor: Ragnarok hits cinemas on Friday, November 3, 2017.
