Mark Ruffalo Says The Hulk is Being Saved For "Something Too Big"

Ever since The Hulk departed the team in Avengers: Age of Ultron, fans have been wondering when we'd see him return again. We've heard rumors that he was involved in Captain America: Civil War, but now we have a definite answer on whether he will appear in next year's Marvel film.

In a recent interview with BadTaste.it, the actor revealed that he was supposed to be in Civil War, but was removed from the script for a reason which he explains below:

"Because it's still missing is not known where. I thought that I would be in the film, but in the end evidently believe that reveal what happened Hulk is something too big, and Marvel wants to use this information later. My character had been inserted in the script, but then it was taken away. Who knows, maybe Hulk will never return. However, they want to keep the revelation of what happened a secret, because it is something really big."

Maybe Marvel is setting him up for his own solo film like the popular Planet Hulk storyline from the comics. Fans would like to see The Hulk meet the Guardians of the Galaxy at one point. Whatever plans Marvel has for Ruffalo's character, I'm sure it's going to be a dramatic one. Which Marvel film do you think The Hulk will show up again?
