Star Wars legend Mark Hamill's certainly had a lot of great moments in and out of Lucasfilm's galaxy far, far away.
Thanks to the internet, Hamill's been rediscovering a video of himself singing in German for a Star Wars parody way, way back in the 80's. Titled "Airplane" a Komishe Katastrophe, the video has a German comedian singing against a backdrop of Star Wars clips. Later on in the video, Hamill comes in singing replies in a gold jumpsuit, hanging from a yellow crescent moon.
"I remember not wanting to wear a gold jumpsuit like a rejected member of ABBA or if I could memorize dialogue in a foreign language-but thought 'Who cares? No one outside of Germany will ever see this!'" the Star Wars legend wrote on his post. "Thanks to the internet-NOTHING EVER GOES AWAY. Who knew?"
Check out the video down here:
It might be an embarrassing memory for Hamill, but it's certainly delightful to see Luke Skywalker hanging around in a golden jumpsuit "like a rejected member of Abba" singing in German while a miss universe and an astronaut come floating in on top of what seems to be a snow speeder in space. There's a lot to love in the video. Hope you enjoyed it!
Mark Hamill's latest Star Wars film, The Last Jedi, is getting its Digital release on March 13 and its Blu-Ray release on March 27.
