Star Wars: The Last Jedi didn't just provide us with the return of Luke Skywalker, but also gave us an awesome character in the form of Laura Dern's Admiral Holdo. Mark Hamill had just recently congratulated Dern for her Gold Globe win, and he reveals that he and Dern actually have a deleted scene in TLJ.
Check it out:
Seeing that Hamill has been known to troll people on the internet, a lot of fans have shown their doubt that there was actually a scene between Holdo and Luke. If I were to make a guess, I can imagine that Luke projects himself on the Raddus before Holdo lightspeeds into the First Order, just so she doesn't feel alone when she dies.
Then again, if this scene was in the film, it would give away the fact that Luke was still on Ach-To during the whole final act.
Other than that, I can also guess there's a flashback scene involving a younger Luke and Holdo interacting, but that feels like an unnecessary segway.
Is there an actual Holdo/Luke scene? I guess we'll just have to wait for the home release to find out.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is now out in theaters.
