Magic: The Gathering Player Submits Deck List on A Cake

Wizards of the Coast require players to submit deck lists in big competitive Magic: The Gathering tournaments but they didn't really specify how.

According to Twitter user Kellen Huber, a Florida man submitted his Eldrazi Tron deck list on a cake, and she's got a photo to prove it. (Note: The tweet was recently deleted).

So fun fact, found out at work that a Florida player submitted his decklist at a rptq on a cake with frosting. Can confirm with pics pic.twitter.com/PNTLAMvG2O

As you can see above, the white cake with frosting is complete with deck list details just like what you would see in a typical deck list sheet. I guess it's legal as long as no one eats it. Does the official of that RPTQ (Regional Pro Tour Qualifier) get to eat the cake after the tournament?

I'm glad to see the spirit of Magic humor is alive, especially when the next joke set Unstable will be out soon.
