Magic: The Gathering Mythic Championship III Has Reached 127K Peak Viewers


Over the weekend, Magic: The Gathering made history in Las Vegas with its first Mythic Championship on MTG Arena, Mythic Championship III, and Argentinian player Matias Leveratto won the 68-player tournament with his Simic Nexus (Standard) deck. It turns out that the event was streamed by a lot of people, and according to escharts.com, the overall peak viewers for the event is 127,855, which happened during the finals match between Leveratto and Brad Nelson.

The next Magic: The Gathering Mythic Championship, MCIV, will take place in Barcelona, Spain on July 26-28 and the formats are Modern and Modern Horizons booster draft on paper. Mythic Championship V will be on Arena but Wizards of the Coast hasn't released details about the premiere event yet.
