Magic: The Gathering: Innistrad Crimson Vow Trailer Teases Olivia Voldaren's Rise to Power

The latest Magic: The Gathering set Innistrad: Crimson Vow has finally launched on Magic: The Gathering Arena, and to celebrate the release of the horror-themed expansion, Wizards of the Coast have released a dark cinematic trailer.

Watch the trailer for Innistrad: Crimson Vow below:

The story of Crimson Vow picks up where the previous set, Innistrad: Midnight Hunt, left off. It revolves around the wedding of Olivia Voldaren, one of Innistrad's most powerful vampires. Due to the failure of the Harvestide ritual, eternal night falls over Innistrad, presenting the perfect opportunity for the world's vampires to make a power play. Olivia prepares to marry Edgar Markov, the progenitor of all of Innistrad's vampires, to claim the ultimate power over the vampire elite. Only the members of the Gatewatch Kaya, Chandra, and Teferi ~ with some help from werewolf Arlinn and vampire Sorin ~ can hope to crash the wedding.

Crimson Vow features alternate-art versions of vampire cards inspired by Bram Stoker's Dracula, including the popular vampire character as a Count Dracula planeswalker card. Other planeswalkers like Chandra Nalaar and Sorin Markov are also featured in the set. There are also Fang Frame cards, and cards with new mechanics like blood tokens, cleave, and training.
