Magic: The Gathering Head Designer Explains Why He Doesn't Play Magic Arena Often

Magic: The Gathering head designer Mark Rosewater spends a lot of time working with Magic so it's easy for fans to assume that he already spent a lot of time playing Magic Arena as well but it turns out that's not the case.

Recently, a fan asked Rosewater if he play Magic Arena, and the head designer responded on his Blogatog. "I've played, but I don't play often," Rosewater said. "It's a combination of not having a lot of free time and owning nothing but Macs."

Currently, Magic Arena is only available on Windows PC and while it's expected to become available on Mac and mobile devices in the near future, Wizards of the Coast still hasn't announced any official release dates. Since he spends a huge amount of his time on Magic and the fact that he also has a family, he probably needs more time to decompress, and it's probably best for him to spend his limited amount of free time to do other things not related to Magic.
