Magic: The Gathering Core Set 2020 & Commander 2019 Edition Announced

Wizards of the Coast

Wizards of the Coast have announced two Magic: The Gathering products today: Core Set 2020 and Commander (2019 Edition).

The annual Core Sets returned last July with Core Set 2019 and Wizards of the Coast are continuing the annual Magic set this year and according to DailyMTG content manager Blake Rasmussen, Core Set 2020 promises "a few new twists along the way". Core Set 2019 featured the villainous planeswalker Nicol Bolas but since the April set War of the Spark will conclude the epic war between Bolas and the Gatewatch, it's unlikely that he will be featured on the packaging for Core Set 2020.

Core Set 2020 will be released on July 12 in all languages in which Magic is sold.
