Seb McKinnon is known for his stunning Magic: The Gathering artwork and he really impressed fans with his recent works for Ravnica: Allegiance. The artworks for cards like Bedevil and Bankrupt in Blood look great but there's another card that features an unforgettable piece: Growth Spiral; and now, the talented artist has shared his initial sketches of Growth Spiral on Twitter and although they are not as polished as the final version, they still look fantastic.

Over on Twitter, McKinnon shared a look at his sketches for Growth Spiral, and as you can see below, they all share the same abstract concept we've seen in the final version but without the beautiful water ripples seen on the card.
This isn't the first early sketch McKinnon shared this month. Just last week, the artist shared the initial art for Aminatou, the Fateshifter.
McKinnon is surely becoming one of my favorite Magic: The Gathering artists. I can't wait to see his future works.
