Luke’s Screentime in Star Wars: The Last Jedi Leaked

It looks like there's new leaks on the running screen time for Mark Hamill's aged Jedi master Luke Skywalker in the highly anticipated Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

During the movie's filming period last year, stars of Star Wars: Episode VIII were spotted working on a few Ahch-To scenes in Ireland. For those who don't remember, Luke had hidden himself away in Ach-To during 2015's Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Daisy Ridley's Rey had to find him and bring him back.

Now, according to YouTuber Mike Zeroh, "a close contact from Ireland" has just uncovered the screen time Luke would be getting in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Zeroh's source who has provided other leaks before, revealed that he had a few talks with the film's crew members who worked on the scenes with Hamill in Ireland.

"They got onto the subject of an estimated amount of screen time for Mark Hamill when it comes to this film," Zero reported, "Supposedly Luke Skywalker will be getting in or around 35% of screen time in Star Wars Episode VIII. That kind of sounds like what Han Solo got in The Force Awakens."

The contact calls right in on Zeroh's video which can be viewed right down here:

It seems like Luke will have a much larger role to play in The Last Jedi than he did in The Force Awakens with a screen time of around 35% of the upcoming film. Other fans from Ireland who had also heard from crew members about Luke's screen time have also confirmed Zeroh's source, revealing that 35% of the screentime would go to "present Luke" while additional minutes would be given to Luke's past self. It looks like the Star Wars sequel trilogy definitely continues to be a "Skywalker saga."

The Last Jedi premieres on the big screen on Dec. 15 this year.
