Luke Skywalker Figure Gives Us Good Look At His Jedi Compass And (Possibly) Vader's Kyber Crystal

Luke Skywalker's life since Return of the Jedi has mostly remained a mystery, but hopefully we get some answers in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. We know now from Battlefront II that Luke gets his hands on a mysterious compass, but there are also rumors that he will have a necklace containing Vader's lightsaber crystal. Thanks to S.H. Figuarts, we get a good look at some of those props.

Here're images for their Last Jedi Luke Skywalker figure:

The most interesting bit from the images, however, is the special look at the compass and the necklace with a red crystal at the end. Though it's possible that it could be something else entirely, I think the theory that it's Vader's crystal is pretty plausible. The only question is—why would Luke keep it?

The comics had Vader "bleeding" a green Kyber crystal, pouring the Dark Side into it until the crystal turned red. I have a feeling that this concept could very much take place in The Last Jedi, and Luke will be asking Rey to "reverse-bleed" the crystal and revert it back to its green form.

This is all just speculation for now, but I'm secretly hoping that Rey build her own dual-bladed lightsaber. She has to be proficient with a staff for a reason.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters Dec. 15.
