Ludi Lin and Max Huang Share Awesome Story about the Mortal Kombat Family [EXCLUSIVE]

Working on a movie for several months can be awesome when you're with the right people. Luckily for Ludi Lin and Max Huang, they have been pals even before they were cast in the Mortal Kombat reboot. In addition to that, they bonded with new friends and even shared an awesome story about their Mortal Kombat family.

Although the reboot has yet to be released, Mortal Kombat was actually filmed almost two years ago in Adelaide, Australia. This was confirmed by Lin's awesome Instagram post that featured himself and Huang together with co-stars Lewis Tan and Joe Taslim.

So how did the amazing photo come to be? We were lucky enough to talk to Lin and Huang, who plays Liu Kang and Kung Lao, respectively, in the upcoming reboot. Lin shared the cool story behind the image which was actually taken in a grocery store after Taslim had a craving for ice cream.

"We really became a family on Mortal Kombat," Lin told Epicstream. He then revealed that the photo was taken after they had dinner at a Chinese restaurant in Adelaide's Chinatown and were looking for dessert. "Specifically, ice cream for Sub-Zero," Lin added.

Luckily, they found a grocery store that had ice cream for Taslim and decided to immortalize the moment by doing a photoshoot in one of the aisles. Lin then revealed that after it was posted, one of the crew took the photo and turned it into an album cover for their "boy band" named MKB (Mortal Kombat Boys).
