Lucy Liu Spotted Hanging Out With Luke Cage’s Mike Colter

Marvel Television is currently shooting the second season of the well-received Netflix series Luke Cage, and while production continues to role, it seems like Kill Bill and Charlie's Angels actress Lucy Liu has been spotted hanging round the series' cast.

According to a report by Comicbook, Liu was spotted by fans around Harlem last week during the start of Luke Cage's season 2 production. Now, more images show Liu associating herself with the cast members of the series. Taking to Instagram, the official social media handle of Harlem Coffee Co. posted a photo last weekend of Mike Colter hanging out with the shop's owner and Lucy Liu.

Captioned with a simple "That's all folks," the photo doesn't really reveal anything much about Liu's role in the series.

Could she actually be playing a part in Luke Cage? She did work with Rosario Dawson in films like Tinker Bell And The Legend of the NeverBeast before. Her presence in the Marvel Netflix series would certainly add an interesting element in Luke Cage's action sequences.

Or could Liu be directing an episode? She has been an episode director before, taking on four episodes of Elementary while starring in the series as Sherlock Holme's (Johnny Lee Miller) partner, Dr. Watson. We'll just have to wait and see.

Luke Cage season 2 debuts on Netflix along with the newest seasons of Jessica Jones and Daredevil sometime in 2018.
