Logan Paul Finds Out He Spent $3.5 Million on Fake Pokemon Cards


YouTube star and card collector Logan Paul has released a new video revealing that an unopened box supposedly containing multiple 1st Edition Pokemon Card Booster Cases, so it means that he was scammed out of $3.5 million. In the new video released earlier today, Paul, the card collector he purchased the box from (Bolillo Lajan San), and a sports card authenticator open the box to find out if his purchase was a good investment

Rumors had been circulating about the 26-year-old content creator's purchase for weeks, with experts skeptical about the authenticity of the cards inside the case.

Paul and the famous card collector met with the Baseball Card Exchange in Chicago in hoes of proving once and for all that the box he purchased was authentic, but instead, he did not get what he expected.

While the packaging of the case appeared to be legit, it was when the box was opened that Paul and the group realized that they'd been fooled.

"Oh my God, bro," Paul said as they opened the first box. "G.I. JOE?? G.I. JOE?!?! It could have been anything else."

One of the authenticators said, "This is the biggest fraud in the entire history of Pokémon."

If the cards had been real, Paul could have made a fortune on what was inside the case, but this is a heartbreaking loss.

In the video, Paul admitted that he tried to find the silver lining in the situation, but it proved to be difficult. "I'm a super positive person, bro," Logan said. "And, I'll always be the one to look at the bright side, and I am trying, but this is very hard."

However, not all is lost for YouTube star. TMZ reported that Bolillo Lajan will be reimbursing Paul's $3.5 million. . “I have reimbursed Logan his 3.5,” Lajan said.

“However, we will see how quickly I am made whole from the sellers who brought it to me already authenticated in the coming days, or if it turns into a drawn-out scenario,” he further added.
