Though Logan has been marketed as the final Wolverine solo for Hugh Jackman, it seems like director James Mangold still wants to work with the Hollywood celebrity in another movie.
Speaking in an interview with We Got This Covered, Mangold revealed how sure he was that he'd work with Jackman someday again, though there's no certainty what kind of film would Mangold drag Old Man Logan in.
All Mangold could say for now is that "I definitely know that Hugh and I will work together again" and that he wants to work on X-23 saying that he'd love to see it being done and "that is something I would definitely be involved with."
Even as a young mutant in Logan, Dafne Keen's X-23 is definitely a character to reckon with, taking up the same kind of ferociousness and spirit as Wolverine, the source of her genes. So far Keen seems to be doing a pretty good job in trailers for Logan, and if she does exceptionally well Fox just might make an entire movie for her in the future. That's the way it usually works with superhero films.
Logan drops in cinemas on March 3 this year.
