It's been almost 2 years since we've first seen the Red Wedding, the most shocking scene in HBO's Game of Thrones. That scene has spawned a bunch of reaction video and parodies that remind us of that bloody scene. If you think the worst has passed, you might want to prepare for what is about to come.
According to Game of Thrones star Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth), an episode towards the end of Season 5 will hit harder than the Red Wedding. When Cunningham appeared on Thronecast, Sky Atlantic's Game of Thrones after-show, he was asked if Season 5 had any scenes more shocking than the Red Wedding. Here's what he said:
"I would think so, yes. It's towards the end of the season, and when I got the scripts, when I got to this particular section, I went: ‘You've gotta be kidding me.'"
If you've read George R.R. Martin's Book 5 of the Song of Ice and Fire series, A Dance With Dragons, you probably have a clue what Cunningham is talking about. I do, but of course, I'm not going to spill spoilers here. Let's wait and see. Winter is truly coming!
