LEGO’s New Ghosbusters Reboot Set Reveals Mini Spoiler

With Paul Feig's Ghostbusters reboot nearing its release, promotional materials are also on full gear. Last week, we saw new photos on set via Twitter, and now the film has tied up with toy company LEGO for its own LEGO merchandise, according to Entertainment Weekly.

As with other toy releases as of late, the Ghostbusters LEGO set has come with its fair share of "spoilers." The set features a first look at the film's villain (presumably), Daemon, as well as a possessed version of Chris Hemsworth's character, Kevin.

Up to now, details of the reboot's plot has still been kept under wraps, so it's a bit surprising to find out details of the film's storyline via LEGO.

I know not too many people are keen on seeing the movie, but I have to admit the LEGO set looks pretty fun to poke around with. Gleaning from Kevin's LEGO versions, it appears the secretary's personality is a crossover between Janine and Louis in the original films. He's also someone excited to be part of the all-female team that he risks getting himself possessed.

The Ghostbusters LEGO set will retail for $59.99 starting July 1. Meanwhile, the reboot will show in theaters July 15, 2016.
