Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is finally out and that means that the Skywalker Saga is now complete. So this is the perfect time to get the new trailer for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, the upcoming game that will cover all nine major films of the beloved franchise.

The trailer opens with the usual message, "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away ..." but this isn't a new movie. We are immediately shown LEGO Darth Maul as he once appeared in The Phantom Menace. There's also a glimpse of Jango Fett from Attack of the Clones as well as the rise of Darth Vader in Revenge of the Sith.

The scenes from the original trilogy are also well-picked. A New Hope is represented by Princess Leia Organa recording a message with R2-D2 while Han Solo in carbonite is shown for The Empire Strikes Back. Luke Skywalker's iconic nod as he hovers above the Sarlacc Pit then represents Return of the Jedi (although we would have liked to see the Ewoks here).

When we get to the sequel trilogy, the Millennium Falcon is featured doing the upside-down maneuver from The Force Awakens. Kylo Ren attacks Luke in The Last Jedi is also shown and finally, Rey's acrobatic leap over Kylo's TIE Fighter represents The Rise of Skywalker.

It's a simple yet awesome trailer that would please any Star Wars fan. We certainly can't wait to see more of the game in the future.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has not yet been given an official release date although it is expected to drop in 2020. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is currently screening in theaters worldwide.
