Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens Gameplay Footage Revealed

With the release of Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens only a few days away, the hype for the game is on hyper drive. Now, there’s a few minutes of gameplay footage teased via IGN YouTube channel.

The new tease consists of 11 minutes of gameplay from the game that comically retells the story of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

TT Games associate producer Tim Wileman narrates the new unleased footage, featuring gameplay from the cockpit of Han Solo's freighter Eravana. The level offers gamers the option to choose from an array of characters – BB-8, Rey, Finn, Han, and Chewie – to go through countless obstacles, in addition to fending off members of Kanjiklub, Guavian Enforcers and Rathars.

As pointed out by Wileman in the video, some of the actors in the movie provided their own voices to their characters in the game, so as to offer a more authentic gaming experience for fans. You can hear their voices in the footage below:

It’s only 11 minutes, but it looks a whole lot of fun that can only be experienced with that Lego touch.

Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be available to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, PlayStation 3, Nintendo 3DS, Xbox 360, PlayStation Vita and Microsoft Windows starting June 28.
