Riot Games and Epic Games, two of the biggest video game developers, have partnered up to bring a selection of the Riot Games Product Portfolio to the Epic Games Store, and that includes bringing Jinx, the popular League of Legends Champion and main character in Arcane, to the world of Fortnite. This collaboration between Riot's MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) game and Epic's battle royale game marks the first League of Legends Champion featured in a non-Riot game.
In addition to the Jinx Fortnite skin, a multitude of Jinx themed items will be available in the Fortnite Item Shop starting tomorrow, November 5, including:
- Arcane Jinx Outfit
- Pow Pow Crusher Pickaxe
- Jinxed Spray
- Jinx’s Dream Monkey Back Bling
- Playground (Instrumental) Lobby Track
- Wreaking Havoc Loading Screen
- Katchoo! Loading Screen
This partnership between Epic Games and Riot Games is the first collaboration between the two developers, and is the latest activation in the recently announced RiotX Arcane event, a month-long experience bringing all of its products together to celebrate the launch of the new League of Legends animated series.
“Fortnite has executed high profile collaborations and entertainment experiences while remaining committed to bringing players content that enriches their experience both in and out of game, a dedication we share and admire," said Brandon Miao, Cross-Product Experiences and Partnerships Lead, Riot Experience (XP) at Riot Games. "We hope fans will enjoy seeing Jinx, one of our most iconic League of Legends champions, in Fortnite to celebrate the launch of Arcane."
“Riot Games is one of the world’s best developers and creators of groundbreaking entertainment franchises. We’re excited they’ve chosen to partner with us to bring their titles to millions of new players through the Epic Games Store," said Steve Allison, Vice President and General Manager of the Epic Games Store.
Riot is also bringing a selection of the developer's product portfolio (League of Legends PC, Teamfight Tactics, Legends of Runeterra, VALORANT) to the Epic Games Store.
Arcane is set to premiere on Sunday, November 7 on Netflix globally. Riot's first-ever TV series is also the first Netflix series to debut with co-streaming exclusively on Twitch, allowing content creators on the platform to broadcast themselves watching and reacting to the show's first episode with their audience. The first League of Legends animated series will follow the origins of two iconic League champions, and the power that will tear them apart.
