Weeks ago, it was reported that Lady Gaga was approached to star in the DCEU's all-woman team-up Birds of Prey. Gaga apparently turned the role down, but news has it that WB is trying even harder to get her on the project.

As per SuperBroMovies, Gaga has been offered a substantial pay raise as well as lead roles for the film. They apparently want her to play either Black Canary or the Huntress.

Gaga has been generating a lot of buzz with her upcoming movie, A Star is Born, and having her onboard for Birds of Prey will definitely be a box office draw. I'm just not sure if Gaga is willing to commit to a big superhero franchise—being the star that she is.

Though we have no idea about the entire plot of BoP, we do know a few details. We know that Margot Robbie will be reprising her role of Harley Quinn, and the team's roster will include Black Canary, Huntress, Det. Renee Montoya, and Cassandra Cain. We also know that the main villain will be Batman rogue Black Mask.

Cathy Yan is set to direct with a script from Christina Hodson. Robbie herself is also attached as producer for the film.

No official release date has been announced for Birds of Prey, but we could be looking at a premiere sometime in 2020.
