LA Proclaims a Stan Lee Day

Stan Lee has received the highest honor that can be given by the City of Los Angeles. The Marvel Comics co-creator and many-time cameo veteran in Marvel films has had an entire day proclaimed to it.

October 28 will officially be known as Stan Lee Day. This honor was awareded to him in lieu of his efforts and achievements that have contributed to the entertainment industry in Los Angeles.

CBR added that, apart from an entire day being attributed to him, Lee also has the honor of having an entire comic convention named after him. What was previously known as Stan Lee's Comikaze Expo, it will now be known as Stan Lee's Los Angeles Comic Con.

The timing of Stan Lee's Los Angeles Comic Con couldn't be better, as the sixth year will be held from Oct. 28 to 30.

"We want to have the most glamorous and sought-after guests possible in the entertainment field, because after all, Los Angeles to me is the home of entertainment—this is where it all starts."

Lee has been busy recently. Marvel recently confirmed that he had already finished filming four cameos for four movies, though for which movies these are, Marvel's Kevin Feige failed to specify. Not too bad for the Marvel Legend himself.
