Kuroko no Basuke Last Game Anime First Visual, Casting Revealed

Kuroko, Kagami, and the rest of the Generation of Miracles will be coming back for a last round in Kuroko no Basuke Last Game.

While the next anime film adaptation is still a good few months away, there' already a teaser visual showing off all seven players in their new uniforms, Comic Natalie spotted (as translated by Anime News Network)

The visual shows all the players in the Vorpal Swords uniforms. Considering the lineup, this is possibly the best dream team you can ever find—at least in the Kuroko no Basuke universe.

Then again, they will be playing against American street basketball players, the Jabberwocks. It seems that the fight will be to avenge the honor of defeated Japanese basketball players after the Jabberwocks start mocking Japanese basketball after their win.

If you're ready for some more Kuroko no Basuke, there will be three Winter Cup compilation films coming out toward the end of the year. The first, Kuroko no Basuke Winter Cup Soshu-hen: Kage to Hikari will be out starting Sept. 3. The next one will be Winter Cup Soshu-hen: Namida no Saki e, showing starting Oct. 8. Finally, from Dec. 3 to 16, Winter Cup Soshu-hen: Tobira no Muko will be out. All theater release dates are for Japanese screenings.

I consider Kuroko no Basuke as one of the great sports animes, up there with the likes of Haikyuu!! and Yowamushi Pedal of its time. What I actually waiting for would be the theme songs for the movie, as most of the seasons had fairly good to great beats.

Kuroko no Basuke Last Game will be released sometime in spring 2017.
