We already know that Komi Can't Communicate Season 2 is coming this April but the confirmed release date is only for the Japanese broadcast. So when will the second season of the anime be released internationally? Netflix has just confirmed when the series will be made available in other regions in an awesome new trailer!
The new Komi Can't Communicate Season 2 trailer offers our first glimpse at Shouko Komi's return. It also introduces the new students in Komi's class including Makoto Katai and Shisuto Naruse. Amazingly, there's even a scene where Komi comfortably speaks to tell Hitohito Tadano she is looking forward to the festival.
These are not the only awesome things that the new trailer revealed. It also confirms the Komi Can't Communicate Season 2 international release date, which is set for April 27, 2022. The second season of the anime series is still expected to drop in Japan on April 6, 2022.
This is interesting news considering that fans were expecting the anime to be available in all regions on April 6. However, it looks like Netflix will first broadcast the second season in Japan before releasing it internationally a few weeks later. It's going to be a little late but fans believe it will be all worth it.
Komi Can't Communicate is based on the manga by Tomohito Oda which was initially released as a one-shot chapter on Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday. It would later be serialized in the same publication and get an anime adaptation as well as a live-action film.
The story follows Hitohito Tadano, an average schoolboy who discovers that the school's cool and popular beauty Shouko Komi actually suffers from a severe communication disorder. As then bond, Komi admits to Tadano that she dreams of making 100 friends and he immediately sets out to help her achieve her goal.
Komi Can't Communicate Season 2 is set to premiere in Japan on April 6, 2022. It will then get its international release on Netflix on April 27, 2022.
