The Star Wars community has seen a massive spurt in theory generation ever since Lucasfilm revealed that the official title for Star Wars: Episode VIII would be The Last Jedi. One of the most recent rumors include a return to the Mustafar castle of Darth Vader in the upcoming Force Awakens sequel – an important Easter egg that many believe wouldn't just connect Star Wars Episode VIII and the first Star Wars anthology film but would also shed more light on Kylo Ren's (Adam Driver) Knights of Ren.
According to a report by Movie Web, new rumors online claim that a key flashback will send fans back to a castle in Star Wars: The Last Jedi and many have begun speculating that this could be Vader's castle from last year's spinoff, Rogue One.
The Last Jedi is reportedly flashback heavy, telling the full story of Kylo Ren and how he had managed to recruit his Knights. Luke's (Mark Hamill) lost students in The Force Awakens are supposedly those who had followed Kylo Ren to the Dark Side and many believe that Kylo Ren and his Knights will try take over Vader's old castle where Luke will reportedly fight an epic duel with the wayward Knights.
While very exciting, all of these rumors are mere speculation and theory. It is possible that Star Wars: The Last Jedi will have none of these scenes, going another direction in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens sequel. All we have to do is wait and see how it'll turn out.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi makes its way to the big screen on December 15, 2017.
