Kit Harrington Confirms Jon Snow's Return in Game of Thrones Season 6, But Not The Way You We Want

Kit Harrington, the actor who played the bastard Jon Snow, has confirmed that he'll return for the sixth season of HBO's Game of Thrones, but not the way fans are hoping for.

Those involved with the Emmy-award-winning drama has insisted for months that Jon Snow is dead, killed by members of the Night's Watch in the Season 5 finale. But after Harrington was spotted on the show's Belfast set drew

But of course, reports of Harrington being spotted on the show's Belfast set just as production began on the sixth season, calls into question all of those claims, fueling speculations that he'll be resurrected or saved from dying.

But in an interview with Time Out London, Harrington cracked a little: "Look, I'm not in the show any more. I'm definitely not in the new series," he states firmly, only to concede, when prodded, "I filmed some scenes of me being dead – it's some of my best work."

Jon Snow fans will probably feel crushed by that revelation, but Harrington does seem to give fans a bit of speculation. When asked whether he knows what will happen as the series unfolds, he says, "I don't have a clue. I know how long I'm a corpse for, but I can't tell you that!"

Game of Thrones Season 6 will premiere on April 24, 2016.
