Kit Harington 'Knows Everything' About Game Of Thrones Season 8

Game of Thrones is undoubtedly the biggest show on HBO, and the series is coming to a full end in 2019 with its 8th and final season. Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow, has just revealed that the series is in its last stages of pre-production, and it looks like Jon knows more than ‘nothing.'

Talking to BBC's The One Show (via Digital Spy), Harington reveals:

"I'm really emotional about [the end]… We had the read-through last week, in fact, so I know everything now."

Previous behind-the-scenes stories had actors only reading the part that they have on the scripts because they were said to keep themselves from any possible twists that could happen to their characters and make their acting more authentic. With Harington's comments, however, I'm thinking the cast changed their mind about spoilers or maybe that's just his way of doing things.

Though Season 7 did give us some pretty stunning visuals, a lot of fans are complaining that Game of Thrones has somehow lost the shock factor that made it a hit back in its early days. Before, almost no character was safe, but now, characters like Jon and Daenerys have obvious ‘plot armor' that will undoubtedly keep them alive till the end of the show. Sure Dany may have lost a dragon last season, but are we supposed to believe that Gendry running to the Wall, him sending a raven, and Dany flying to Jon's rescue all happened in a day?

No official release date has been announced for Game of Thrones 8, but the series is expected to skip 2018 and deliver its final season in 2019.
