The Kingdom Hearts Union X and Kingdom Hearts Dark Road smartphone games were both originally supposed to end service back in May 2021. However, Kingdom Hearts Union X released its final story a month later and both games immediately switched to offline mode in June 2021. It has already been confirmed that Square Enix had planned to release a new story update for the offline version of Kingdom Hearts Dark Road last winter. However, it was delayed due to a "major scenario addition."

For now, there are not a lot of details about the new titles. However, there is a huge chance we will be getting new updates on Kingdom Hearts IV and Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link before the end of the year. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

The final story installment of Kingdom Hearts Union X and Kingdom Hearts Dark Road will be available on iOS and Android in August 2022.
